- We will use relevant examples from Division 9 “real life” disconnects between a manufacturer’s requirements, a specification writer’s language, and the ultimate end result in the field.
- We will examine current ANSI & ASTM language, various examples of manufacturer specification language, and some reoccurring specification mis-fires which occur in spite of everyone’s best intentions.
- We will review actual case study examples to illustrate possible resolution paths.
- At the conclusion of the presentation, the examples provided will offer timely solutions of specific on-going “fixes”, and hopefully be a jumping off point for closer communication between all stakeholders to minimize future “punch list” issues.
